The nutrition portion of the book goes over a list of recommended foods, it tells you which foods to eat and which foods to avoid. There are also sample menu’s.
As far as cardio, there’s a chapter on what kinds you should do, for how long and how often. I believe that aerobic/cardiovascular exercise is important, so I like that he includes this.
It’s not necessary to join a gym, but Tom recommends doing that…eventually. I am a believer that you can work out, and get great results at home if that’s your desire, so this is up to you.
