Lower Back Pain Relief – is it necessary?
As lower back pain can affect almost 50% of the population at any given time, lower back pain relief is both necessary and elusive. Why?
Firstly it is necessary to ease pain, not only because pain is something you don’t enjoy, but it also affects your overall health. When in pain your body will more likely suffer with fatigue, moodiness and will even cause certain organs to functions less efficiently.
Low back pain relief is also elusive; if it was any easy task then the statistics would be declining, when in fact they are getting worse. Statistics all over the world report that back pain is an increasing epidemic in the Western world.
Yet you will see many professions touting that they can cure lower back pain and stop you suffering in the future. If this is true then why are those statistics getting worse?
The ONLY Answer To Lower Back Pain
Each profession, whether it is Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy or even medicine, will claim to have success at easing back pain. Yet long lasting relief is not that easy.
The reason is simple enough…
Each profession only has PART of the answer. So they can ease pain but not make it last. This is not the fault of any one practitioner; I myself am a Chiropractor and know full well that the techniques I was taught at college work, but the only address part of the cause of back pain.
All back pain, no matter where it is, is caused by 3 main issues and you need to correct all three to have long term low back pain relief.
The 3 Causes of ALL Back Pain
Everyone knows that muscles are a common cause of pain, whether it is muscles being too tight and in spasm. Or muscles being weak and allowing pain to develop as you lose support in the area.
Hopefully you will also know that joints can also cause pain, not the joint itself but if the joint movement becomes less efficient. As joints slow in motion, they too can cause muscles to become out of balance.
The final area is also muscular but is different. Trigger points are localized tension in a muscle. This tension tends to be where the nerve meets the muscle. Once formed these trigger points will refer pain away from the area.
For example, you can have pain in your pelvis and outer thigh yet the trigger point may be located around the base of your rib cage. An area that may have no local pain at all.
This is why it gets confusing. Most practitioners look at the sight of pain and not always at ALL the causes. Your pain will ease but it returns.
This is why the statistics are so poor and lower back pain remains a common condition. To get long lasting lower back pain relief you must systematically remove all the causes, which is why I support the only system on the internet that follows this approach.
The ONLY 3-Step-Plan
I built this blog to help educate my patients, their family and friends and those of you who I’ve never met. It is important to understand what causes your pain, why it occurs and what YOU can do to help yourself remove pain.
From all my years in practice (over 25 years and counting) I have never found a system to follow that allows you to remove pain at home. I’ve tried, assessed and even reviewed a lot for various organizations.
