Malaria spreads through female Anopheles mosquito bites. The mosquito passes parasites into human bloodstream, where they make their way to the liver, and in more severe cases, even the brain, causing Generic Malarone contains two ingredients, atovaquone, and proguanil hydrochloride, which combine to stop the parasite “Plasmodium Falciparum” from entering the human bloodstream at contact. The drug is also a cure for malaria because it is able to kill the parasites already present in the body.
