What is Kapake?

Kapake 30mg/500 mg tablets belong to the family of drugs called pain relievers or analgesic. Kapake is commonly used to treat extreme types of pain. Due to its strength, prescription is strictly for adults only. There are special cases though, where it can be prescribed to children between 12 to 18 years of age.

Kapake is composed of two potent pain inhibitors: codeine and paracetamol. These compounds are present in Kapake in the ratio 30:500 – 30mg of codeine to 500mg of paracetamol.

Kapake works by releasing paracetamol to inhibit pain signals from reaching the brain, and then introduces codeine to eliminate the signals.

How to Take Kapake

It usually comes in tablet form for easier oral intake. Patients should strictly follow their doctor’s prescription to get the best results and avoid allergic reactions and side effects as much as possible. Aside from the prescription, patients should also read the package insert before taking the first dose.

Adults and older patients should take a maximum of 2 tablets per intake. The maximum daily dosage allowed per person is up to 8 tablets. Each intake should have an interval of at least 4 hours in between.

Children of 12-18 years of age are allowed to take only 1 tablet every six hours and a maximum daily dosage of 6 tablets within a 24-hour period. Children below 12 years of age are definitely not allowed to take in this medication as it can cause breathing difficulty. There are cases though where physicians prescribe a different dosage than what’s recommended. It all depends on the situation and the patient’s need and capability to take the drug.

It’s not recommended to do self-medication and take in Kapake without proper prescription. This might lead to more adverse side effects and can even put the patient’s life in danger.

Patients should not take in this medication for more than 3 days. Medical consultation is needed if the pain does not subside after 3 days. In cases of drug overdose, the patient should be brought to the ER for immediate medical attention. Patients taking this medication should regularly undergo examination and consultation since some severe side effects do not instantly manifest and take some time to develop.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding women:

It’s strongly advised NOT to take this medication if you’re bearing a child. Common paracetamol is considered safe for pregnant women, but Kapake also contains codeine which may have adverse effects on pregnancy.

Breastfeeding women are also NOT advised to ingest Kapake. The codeine in Kapake is transformed by the body into morphine and can have adverse effects on the infant drinking the mother’s milk.

Simple Steps On How To Get Rid Of Arthritis

With so many treatment options and over-the-counter medications claiming to eliminate and cure arthritis, it can be very difficult to determine your best course of action for dealing with pain and inflammation. To make your choices a little easier, you can take a look at the carefully-selected advice below to discover some new arthritis treatment possibilities.

Keep joints strong by working on good posture. This can help to lessen the amount of arthritis pain. Stand up straight and tall when you’re on your feet, and avoid slumping or slouching when you sit down. Weight should be distributed evenly on both legs. This will allow you to have a stronger spine, which could reduce your arthritis symptoms.

If you are dealing with arthritis, do some activities in the water. Not only are aquatic activities good for stretching out your joints and muscles, but the water is also soothing for someone who suffers from chronic arthritis, especially if the water is warm. Try joining a swimming class if you do not know how to swim.

Although they may be fashionable, high heeled and other shoes that squeeze and contort feet should be avoided by anyone with arthritis problems. Shoes that you do not feel comfortable in will have you walking in an abnormal fashion and this can be bad for your arthritis. So, it is important to get a pair of gym shoes that will give you proper support and keep you comfortable.

Consider how everything you do will affect your joints. Very minimal tasks can be painfully difficult when suffering with arthritis. Find alternative methods of completing your daily routine to accommodate your needs. For example, you might slide an item across the floor instead of picking it up and carrying it. Never be afraid to ask for help if arthritis is interfering with your ability to lift items. Pain from arthritis can be a thing of the past, if you avoid inflammation of your joints.

Partake in adequate exercise that’s appropriate to your condition. Not only does exercise keep your body in its best shape, it also builds up your overall flexibility. You want the inflammation-reducing effects of good low-impact exercise, but you also want to avoid pushing yourself too hard. If you start to feel pain, stop.

Joint surgery might be just what you need to find relief from your arthritis symptoms. This surgery is not a choice to be taken lightly, but one which has a proven success record in providing relief when arthritis conditions become unbearable.

Fish Oil
If you have arthritis, you should consider taking fish oil supplements. Research has shown that the omega-3s that fish oil contains can decrease joint pain and inflammation. It is possible to buy fish oil in some grocery stores, as well as in stores that sell vitamins and supplements.

If you have been diagnosed with chronic arthritis, regular visits to a hot sauna may be in order. The wet heat and steam will be helpful in reducing inflammation, and inflammation is a main cause of the pain. It will be necessary to make regular visits to the sauna if you want to see results.

Developing a solid plan is integral for your arthritis. Your arthritis could become painful at any time so having a plan to follow just in case is a good choice. Don’t start a lengthy job if you can’t get away from it to rest up during an attack, and always leave yourself a graceful exit route in case arthritis curtails your activities for the day.

Don’t allow yourself or others to get you down. Arthritis may keep you from performing specific types of tasks. Arthritis isn’t your fault, so never feel guilty or responsible for the limitations that it causes. Giving certain things up isn’t a reason to feel bad.

Know how to spot the symptoms of arthritis. Learning about the symptoms ahead of time can help you detect it early. If you think you are having arthritis symptoms, first consult with a physician for the proper diagnosis. He will tell you which type you have and help you to create a treatment plan and give you tips to use at home.

Maintain enough protein in your diet. Arthritis patients need plenty of protein, as their bodies use more of this important nutrient than people without arthritis. Vegetarians need to work a little harder to get enough protein in their diet.

Strenuous Activity
If you are participating in a strenuous activity, use assistant devices. If you are on your feet for long periods or lifting heavy objects, using protection and assist devices help to protect you from damaging fragile joints. Damaging your joints further will result in more pain, and it is helpful to refrain from strenuous activity.

Inform other people! Express how you are feeling and the impact that arthritis is having on your life. Don’t be afraid to admit to others when you are suffering from an unusually painful flare up due to arthritis. Bad moods and frustration can cause others to be confused if they don’t know what is happening. Being upfront about your condition will help others understand what you are going through, and it will allow them to offer support.

Whether you choose surgery, physical therapy, dietary supplements or anything else, you can use the article you just read for ideas to get rid of the pain and inflammation that comes with arthritis. Becoming more knowledgeable about your condition will make it considerably easier to make more informed and realistic decisions about your intended mode of therapy and action plan for recovery.
